Great net for everything
I use these nets for cherry shrimp, small fish, dipping out plants bits, and corraling bigger fish into the big net. I love these, wouldn't be without one.

Great from mosquito larvae
Use it to collect mosquitoes for my fishies, works great.

It's what I was looking for
This is the net I needed to replacean an old and worn out one like it, would have bought it at my local store, but could not find one like it. It has a good fine weave that is not too thick-fluffy? Like another fine net I had tried (bugs kept getting stuck in the weave). I use this for collecting live food, and it is important that tiny critters don't get stuck in the weave. Also glad to find it at the 4" size, as most brine shrimp nets are smaller.

Nice net, but lets about 10% brine shrimp through
I use this net the most for all sorts of maintenance as it is a nice size for the smaller fish we have. However it does seem to let quite a few brine shrimp through, about 10-15%. Perhaps that's just the way thing are with critters that small and I'm expecting too much. I just strain over a jar and then re-strain the escapees through a coffee filter as I only have a few fish that eat these so I culture small batches and every one is precious. If you're culturing in bulk who cares about a few escapees though.

Works amazingly for mosquito larvae.
I use this for scooping out mosquito larvae and dropping them into my aquarium. Many fish enjoy them. My Betta (separate tank) , bloodfins, cardinal tetras, otocinclus catfish, and corydoras catfish all love them. Great use of those useless mosquitos and practically free food.

Perfect for hot tub floaters!
I love this little net for floaters in my hot tub. It is PERFECT and better a big cumbersome skimmer net... I skim little floating things while I am in my spa and it gets it all. Keeps my Sundance Spa sparkling! Hard matter isn’t great for the filter or water clarity. The fabric net itself is very fine, so nothing escapes. The rubbery coated handle is nice, too, because I tap-out the net on the edge of my spa and it doesnt leave a mark or scratch. Every hot tub owner should have one. Makes skimming so easy from both inside the tub and walking around the outside.

Great for fish, but Brine still went through net.
This is a nice net for wrangling my fish. But I found when I use it for the brine shrimp the mesh is not fine enough. I found I lost quite a bit of brine when rinsing them in the net. And that's rinsing with an eye dropper so not to force as many through.

Great for outdoor spas
This is a sturdy little skimmer that I use in my spa. It's easier to use than the paddle-sized skimmer from the spa store and fits in the step storage.

Not for baby brine shrimp
Regular fine mesh nylon net. Good for fry and shrimp not for baby brineshrimp. Quality isn’t that great, I feel like the net will get a hole if you’re not careful

Net eyes too big for netting brine shrimp. Useless.
Net eyes too big for netting brine shrimps. Useless. I had to keep using my old net which is really for brine shrimp.

Perfect size for smaller fish (betta).
The material is super soft and just the right size for my betta with delicate fins. He's having salt baths for fin rot.
